Our latest adventure…

IMG_0549We have some very exciting Two Kitchens news to share! A few weeks back we were invited by The Dailey Method studio on Dunbar Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, for an open house where we would have an opportunity to showcase The Two Kitchens and share some goodies with their members. Yesterday was the big day!

If you haven’t heard about The Dailey Method, it is a unique combination of ballet barre work, core conditioning, muscle strengthening, yoga and orthopedic exercises that effectively strengthens, tones, and lengthens the entire body. The Dunbar studio is beautiful and well appointed and the staff is great. They will soon be opening a new location in Kitsilano, very exciting!

The open house was lovely, with beautiful organic body care products showcased by Urban Body Organics, a MELT demonstration and an invigorating and inspiring talk on Hormone Health by Dr. Janet Franiek from the Westcoast Women’s Clinic.

The Dailey Method Event

We decided to share three of our favorite recipes as well as one new one. People had a chance to try our Mango & Spinach Smoothie Shots, Thai Chickpea Bites served on cucumber rounds, Tangy Raw-Slaw with Apple Raisin Chutney and Sweet Protein Bites. We were overwhelmed by everyone’s enthusiasm and interest in what we are doing, and we were overjoyed at their love of our food! It was wonderful to get lots of positive feedback and to see people enjoying our creations.

It’s hard to believe it’s only been two weeks since our launch! We are so grateful to all of our Followers, over 750 Twitter followers and Facebook and Instagram fans.

We want to thank The Dailey Method studio on Dunbar for letting us share The Two Kitchens at their event. And we want to thank all of you reading this for your support as well!

We are very excited to see what other adventures are in store for The Two Kitchens.

Here are the recipes we made for the event. Give them a try and let us know what you think!
